One of Disney's classic fairy tales, we all watched Cinderella growing up. But did you notice that she had a particularly surprising physical defect?

Walt Disney's Cinderella has been enchanting children for years. But there's something that we've all been missing! That the young heroine of the movie did not actually have ... ears!

Looking closely, you can see that Cinderella doesn't have any ears at all! A defect that is even more noticeable if we compare the Cinderella of 1950 with the more recent one in her new 3D version in Wreck-It Ralph 2. This version of Cinders does indeed have a clearly visible pair of ears which were sorely lacking in the first.

But why did the designers of the time forget such an essential detail? Whilst we don't know the answer, some Internet-users have a funny theory about it ... If Cinderella had ears, she would have heard her shoe falling off as she ran out of the ball before midnight and therefore the Prince would never have found it later. That would have totally changed the story, right?
