Winter Love Island: Zara’s family claims ‘she doesn’t need help’ as her unaired row is exposed

The past few episodes of Winter Love Island and especially the ongoing Zara and Tom’s situationship have pushed people to worry about her. The recent game of truth and dare urged Former Coronation Street actress Shobna Gulati to complain to Ofcom about Zara being bullied by Islanders. She tweeted:

I’ve complained to Ofcom – it was a very uncomfortable watch.

Zara can handle the drama

Viewers feel that she’s been put through a lot in the villa, however, her family has come forward to claim that Zara is a strong woman and can handle all her drama. According to Mirror, Zara’s family came forward after viewers were considerably ‘concerned’ about her.

Zara’s brother Alex said:

She is a very strong woman who knows her own mind – she can handle the drama.

Her mother Denise added:

We understand people’s concerns when they see she is visibly upset. We know the show is highly edited and that Zara is free to leave at any time.

Zara went into the villa with her eyes wide open and warned us that we’ll be seeing 24 hours condensed into 50 minutes each night.

The unaired row

This comes after dumped Islander Haris Namani revealed that Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown also had a row with Tanyel Revan. The 21-year-old TV salesman – who was recently booted from the villa – confirmed the bust-up on a TikTok live.

Mirror reported that fans were left seemingly baffled as there was no hint of the argument anywhere yet. Haris revealed:

Tanyel just had an argument with Zara that I didn't wanna see or hear. So I told her to go upstairs.

On which one fan commented:

We didn't see anything between them? What happened?!

Meanwhile, Haris added:

Zara started showing sides that people didn't want to see. I didn't have a problem with her.

It was always the case with Zara, she wanted to know what people would talk to Tom about, I'm like, 'it's been 3/4 days just chill the f**k out'.

She wanted to be in control. Ron made her aware of that, you can't do that.
