Love Island 2022 winner Davide Sanclimenti has slammed the winter series as people around him tell him the series is ‘not interesting.’

Despite having its twists and turns, Winter Love Island has failed to create the usual fanbase it does every year. Some fans even believe that this series is not ‘Love Island-ing’ like other series and 2022 summer series winner Davide Snaclimenti appears to be of the same mindset.

Davide’s complaint

The Love Island 2022 summer series set the bar way too high for Islanders. Davide confessed that he was new at that time and didn’t know a lot which made him real or possibly someone ‘people could relate to.’ However, Winter Love Island contestants have nothing of the sort going on for them.

The Italian stallion said:

Apparently most of them, a lot of them are younger so I can't even relate to them, so that's probably why.

This comes after Davide dismissed his engagement rumours with his girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. The 28-year-old said he has only known Ekin-Su for a short while to get engaged, reported Mirror. Davide said:

Even if we are so close, the reality is that we know each other for only six months so it would be nice to see at least a two-year relationship before you commit for life.

This is what I always will delight with fans to understand, that even if everything is perfect, it seems a dream, you need to be realistic.

He added:

And before you get engaged for life, I think it would be wise to wait two years at least, you know, so you can discover more about the other person.
