ITV have however released a statement dispelling all hope; “Sherif left the series of Love Island by mutual agreement after breaking the rules and there are no plans for him to appear at this weekend’s Aftersun Reunion.”

A spokesperson for Sherif has spoken out to explain that the star is truly disappointed by the news; “Sherif is gutted. He was really looking forward to having the chance to reunite with the other islanders who became he friends during the villa. It’s hard to fathom why they wouldn’t want him as he was so popular during his short stint on the show.”

The spokesperson reinforced the point that ITV are taking things too far by denying the ex-islander the opportunity to meet the others now they’re all on the outside; “It’s a shame ITV feel this strongly against him attending.”
