Montana Brown SLAMMED For Calling Barbie A Bad Role Model

Barbie is one of the most popular toys in history. Recognisable the world over, she's been loved by generations of children - but she's come under fire from some for her unrealistic proportions.

Whilst there are now a diverse range of Barbies of different ethnicities, abilities and job roles, the most recognisable Barbie doll remains the skinny blonde with a perky chest - and Montana reckons it's a bad role model for young girls.

Writing on her Instagram, Montana said: 'I think it’s important to educate children that there is no specific way they should look because everyone is beautiful in their own unique ways.'

However, many fans were quick to point out that Love Island is also a major culprit for promoting one very specific type of beauty - calling Montana a hypocrite.
