One islander who managed to resist the urges is latest villa casualty, Michael Griffths. The 27-year-old firefighter claims he knows the reason why this year’s contestants are refusing to get busy between the sheets.

The Liverpool lad claimed that it was simply too hot stating, “The second the duvet goes over you do get hot.” The ex-islander explained that while nothing much could happened, the topic dominated all the chats in the villa.

“There was lots of chat about what they’re going to do when you come out and how nice it will be to not be on camera so you can be passionate in that way when nobody is watching.”

However the public are speculating as always and many have decided that Michael is purely acting coy. A source revealed that bosses are listening to contestants who don’t want the footage aired.

“Most of them have said they’re not comfortable with their [bedroom] scenes being broadcast and bosses have taken it all into account.” This follows Zara Holland’s claims that some scenes led to the demise of her career.
