Maura Higgins just announced an exciting new TV job

In some very exciting news for both Love Island and Irish beauty fans, Maura Higgins has just been announced as the presenter of Glow Up Ireland, which is set to air for the first time on RTE later this year.

Maura Higgins to present Glow Up Ireland

Maura said:

I'm so excited to be the presenter of the first-ever Glow Up Ireland.

Having watched the last few series of the show in the UK this is such an amazing opportunity and the fact that this is my first presenting job and it's in Ireland is so overwhelming.

She continued:

It's such a pinch-me moment to be doing this back in my home country. I actually can't believe it. Obviously, we're expecting a very high standard of Irish talent to come forward.

What is Glow Up Ireland?

Glow Up Ireland is the brand new Irish version of popular BBC makeup competition show Glow Up: Britain's Next Makeup Star. The original version was hosted by Stacey Dooley, with Maya Jama taking over for the most recent series in 2021.

Glow Up Ireland will see ten up and coming makeup artists pitted against each other with different beauty challenges each week. They'll be eliminated one by one until the winner is crowned at the end of the series.
