According to The Sun, Thomas found being on a reality TV show in a toxic environment so overwhelming that he almost walked out of the show in the initial weeks. The 37-year-old went on to reveal that he was ‘shocked’ by how some of his fellow cast mates reacted. He said:
There definitely were points where I wanted to quit, I just thought 'This is not for me.' I couldn't cope with manipulation coming from other cast members.More under this adMore under this ad
I am not going to name names, but there was a pressure from other cast members to push you out because they didn’t want to be the first one’s out.
Thomas clarified that he wasn’t talking about his partner Rosaline - who has been his ‘rock’ - and his close friends Luke Worley and Jay Howard. He added:

I think some people just couldn’t help the competitive aspect. I was just trying to focus on my relationship with Ros, but I was so surprised by how some people were trying to get between others.More under this adMore under this ad
It hurt me to see that. You really feel exposed at times, like everyone is coming for you.
Despite everything, he claimed he doesn’t hate anybody and said:
