According to an insider, new Love Island bombshell Lucinda Strafford was ‘reconciling’ with Aaron Connolly before ditching him for the villa.

Lucinda Strafford made quite an entrance to the Love Island villa this week. She and fellow bombshell Millie Court seem to have got just about every boy’s head turning. So far, she’s expressed an interest in Brad McLelland, Aaron Francis and Hugo Hammond—but an insider has alleged she’s really there ‘to plug her business’.

According to the insider, Lucinda had rekindled her relationship with Brighton professional footballer Aaron Connolly in the weeks leading up to her villa entrance but has decided to go on Love Island anyway because ‘she’s trying to become an influencer, she wants to do it for her business.'

Lucinda Strafford and Aaron Connolly relationship history

Lucinda Strafford and Aaron Connolly had reportedly been dating for two years when they split in March. That same month, Aaron was accused of breaching COVID rules when he was allegedly caught on camera sleeping with a woman he had invited to his home. He was apparently single at the time.

However, according to the insider, Lucinda and Aaron had since rekindled their relationship. They said:

He was seeing other people and she was jealous, but over the past few months they’ve been seeing each other, going for dinner and reconciling and now he’s found out about Love Island he’s very upset. In the last few weeks they’ve been in each other’s pockets, but the TV show will change all that.

Who is Lucinda Strafford?

21-year-old Lucinda owns her own fashion brand The Luxe Range and formerly worked as cabin crew. She had been asked to go on Love Island previously but turned the opportunity down due to her work commitments. After being made redundant in the pandemic, she finally accepted to go on Love Island 2021.
