Love Island reportedly eyeing an ‘all-stars return’ season next year

Love Island has been a popular dating series for a few years now. Each season fans grow attached to new people and sometimes want them to return. So much so that fans have been requesting a season with just fan favourites. ITVis rumoured to have listened, but who could return?

Fan favourites to return to the villa?
An ITV insider has revealed that bosses are working on a Love Island special season which could air in 2024. This season could see the likes of Maura Higgins and Kady McDermott. The source told The Sun:

It is believed that ITV bosses are planning on bringing back some of the ‘sexiest’ contestants from previous seasons, the source added:

The all-stars season could also see Kady McDermott’s ex, Scott Thomas return too.

No official release date yet
The show is still in the discussion and ‘development’ stages and doesn’t have an official release date yet. However, there are strong indications that the all-stars series will take place.
Indeed, Davina McCall revealed on the podcast The Diary of a CEO that she has offered to host the show.
Moreover, the series will or will not go ahead depending on how I’m a Celeb All Stars does this summer. This show will see the like of boxer Amir Khan, Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan, former royal butler Paul Burrell, ex-Countdown star Carol Vorderman, and many others. Instead of Australia, it will take place in South Africa.
