Love Island Georgia Reveals Tragic Reason Loyalty Is So Important To Her

If there was one word you associated with Georgia from this year's Love Island, it would almost certainly be 'loyalty'. The 20-year-old seemed to take every possible opportunity to underline how 'loyal' she was. It was the source of a lot of memes and left Georgia devastated when Josh dumped her when he returned from Casa Amor with Kaz.

But now Georgia has revealed to The Sun the sad reason that loyalty is so important to her. When she was just three years old, Georgia's biological dad, jockey Rodney Lappin, walked out on her and her mum. Georgia didn't hear from him until she was in her teens, by which point she didn't want anything to do with him. Her mum went on to marry a man called Andrew, whom Georgia considers to be her real dad.
