Love Island All Stars contestant to witness a brutal dumping a day before the finale

Love Island All Stars has been all kinds of fun and drama. The first series of the spin-off version didn’t disappoint and gave viewers a glimpse back into the old days of ITV2’s dating reality TV show. With a lot of changes in the new version from axing Love Island: Aftersun to active social media accounts, show bosses ensured to make the spin-off as exciting as possible.

Love Island All Stars villa was shaken by brutal dumping right before the finale

Amidst this, they’re pulling new strings and are going to axe a fan-favourite couple just a day before the finale. According to The Sun, in scenes that will play out on Sunday's episode (February 18), one pair will get dumped from the villa before Monday's grand final.

The couple is understood to be ‘gutted’ to come so close to the end but be sent packing home. The shocking axe twist comes as Love Island producers always ‘reserve one last twist before the final.’ An insider revealed:

Bosses often like to reserve one last twist before the final and, true to form, they saved one last brutal elimination for the last weekend of the series.

Talking about the dumping that has already taken place, the source added that there were a lot of tears as islanders have become too close with each other in the past few weeks. They added:

There were lots of tears shed as the pair said goodbye to their fellow villa residents.

Even though they will all be reunited again on Monday night for the final, they've all grown so close and no one wants to leave at this stage, especially so close to the end.

Dumped Islanders to Return to Love Island All Stars

This comes after the show bosses have orchestrated to bring back all the 13 previously dumped islanders on Sunday night. In a first look at Sunday’s episode, viewers saw a dumped islander returning to the villa for a huge confrontation, reports Mirror. Reportedly, the ex-islanders will come back to the villa and chat with the remaining couples and the segment has been named ‘judgement day.’
