I’m A Celeb All-Stars has a new update that has made fans unhappy: ‘Already disappointed’

The I'm A Celeb All-stars spin-off will take place in South Africa as Ant and Dec return as the show hosts. The first nine contestants of the show were revealed last weekend and many more faces are expected to join the show later.

I’m A Celeb changed format for all-stars edition

While announcing the first nine faces Ant and Dec promised that the challenges and trials would be ‘bigger and wilder than we could have hoped for.’ This built up some excitement amongst I’m A Celeb fans as South African jungles are expected to be more uncomfortable and harsher than Australian jungles.

However, their excitement was short-lived as it is understood that the show format is going to be changed this time. According to The Sun, the all-stars edition will not be shown live and it has already been filmed at Kruger National Park, South Africa.

ITV has not revealed how the participants would be ‘evicted’ from the camp or how the winner will be chosen this time. I’m A Celeb is expected to make a return to our TV screens on April 24 and would run for 3 weeks.

I’m A Celeb fans are not happy!

Post the news of the format change, I’m A Celeb fans have shown their disappointment openly on social media. Many think that that pre-recorded show would mean the show’s scripted and it would lose all of its excitement. One wrote on Twitter:

Pre recorded , so this means set up skits and having to do a scene over and over again just to make it look ‘shocking and real’ for the camera 💩💩should have had the Z listers go round the U.K. filling it pot holes instead

Another two added:

You mean you've already been to South Africa? Lol. It was filmed a while ago. And the fact that it won't be live and the public can't vote makes me a lot less excited for this than I would be tbh. 🙈 #ImACeleb

not the same since its pre filmed, no viewer votes and no funny ant and dec moments accidentally messing up the script. already disappointed.
