Great British Bake off finds itself in a ‘fix’ row after this incident

Fans have been known to enjoy the Great British Bake Off previously, however, this year things have changed. From thematic errors to racist and ageist remarks, fans have found one thing or another problematic with the show.

Fixed and Favourites

One of the most recent things is claims by the fans that the show is ‘fixed’ and the judges have their ‘favourite.’ This comes after the bakers were set three challenges by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith on Tuesday.

In the aftermath of the entire episode, Syabira was crowned the Star Baker for the second week in a row. The Sun confirms that this has left fans fuming as they believe Sandro deserved to be the Star Baker instead of the 32-year-old from London.

Furious fans took to social media and expressed their disappointment and anger openly about the show. One fan wrote:

#gbbo Sandro was robbed today. His technical was the only one that was any good & that showstopper was. He should've got star baker. Maxy or Janusz should have gone for their bad technical & worse showstoppers; Kevin actually had a decent tasting custard. Is it a fix...??

What really caused fury?

During Tuesday's episode, Syabira made a mess in the first technical challenge when her dish’s ice cream melted and did not set. Whereas Sandro aced the challenge effortlessly.

Syabira did try to make a return with her decorated piña colada cake and was successful, much to viewers' surprise, despite being last in the first technical challenge. It was after the piña colada cake that she was crowned the Star Baker and this left fans furious. One of them said:

I need Sandro to get star baker soon or even a handshake. I'm really sad about it.

After catching up with @BritishBakeOff on @Channel4 I think this week's star baker was absolutely Sandro.
