Georgia Townend speaks out about Hugo after brutal dumping

New girl Georgia Townend didn’t last long in the villa, despite making a beeline for single boy Hugo—who has so far had zero romance in his four weeks on the show. After seeing her make her arrival on Wednesday night’s episode, viewers saw Georgia promptly dumped in Thursday night’s recoupling.

Most of the recoupling went as planned, with Liberty and Jake, Millie and Liam and Faye and Teddy and Aaron and Lucinda pairing off predictably. Meanwhile, new boy Tyler coupled up with Kaz and Toby sent shockwaves through the villa by picking bombshell Abigail over Chloe.

Shocking the Islanders and viewers alike, Hugo gave a blistering speech slamming the way Chloe had been treated and chose to couple up with her, leaving poor Georgia single despite her showing a strong romantic interest in Hugo.

After her dumping, Georgia said:
I think we would have been a good match; he was really eloquent, polite. I’m not sure why there wasn’t a spark. I think he holds a candle for Lucinda and Chloe… I think perhaps unless he’s honest with himself and really goes for that, he’s not going to even explore other options and he just wants to protect his friends and make sure they’re OK, which isn’t a bad thing, it’s just obviously in this instance it’s at my expense. Maybe he doesn’t really know what he’s looking for.More under this adMore under this ad
