Lately, it seems like the Queen has been looking to hire a whole new staff, the most recent job openings in the Buckingham Palace include a Digital Learning Assistant and a Senior Employee Communications Assistant. Digital Learning Assistant
The Queen’s royal household has recently advertised that they are looking for a Digital Learning Assistant in order to helpboost the internal communications of the Palace staff. The palace has described the role as helping the Palace take their ‘systems and content catalogue to the next level’ as well as exploring new ways to engage with employees ‘via digital and virtual learning environments.’
More under this adMore under this adThe right applicant will also be a significant contributor to the upgrading of the Palace’s LMS systems and manage the system’s learner support, troubleshooting issues, developing functionality and analytics capability. They will also be able to put their creative skills to use by designing and developing a range of digital training content, blended learning programmes and other resources.’
In order to be considered for the job, hiring managers are looking for someone who is passionate about digital technologies and has a strong grasp on online user experience. Ideally, the right candidate will also have a relevant degree, experience with virtual learning environments, as well as have the skills to ‘design and build creative and engaging learning content and materials involving e-learning, video, graphics and animation.’

Senior Employee Communications Assistant
The Buckingham Palace is also looking for a Senior Employee Communications Assistant to join their HR team during an ‘interesting and important time.’

The right communications assistant will be able to handle the coordination of news as well as source and write content and co-operate with local editors.
In this exciting role, the candidate will also act as a brand ambassador for recruitment communications. Focusing also on an external audience the applicant will also lead the development of the Palace's 'external web and social media presence.’
More under this adMore under this adThe right candidate for the role will have a relevant degree, some experience in internal communications and be digitally fluent, with the ability to act as an editor or administrator of both websites and social media pages.
The job also requires some content creation as applicants are expected to be able to ‘create eye-catching resources and artwork for various platforms/channels.’ Along these lines, the candidate will also be able to analyse digital trends using relevant data as well as have excellent copywriting skills.
