'She reminded me of my mother:' Joe Biden says after meeting with the Queen

On Sunday, Joe Biden and his wife Jill made their way to the Queen’s residence for a private tea after wrapping things up at the G7 summit. The Queen personally welcomed them into her grand home as the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ played in the background.

Private tea
The couple reportedly stayed at her premises for almost an hour, and while most of the contents of their conversation are unknown, Biden has given reporters a few details to hold on to. He said:

78-year-old Biden also went on to add that her majesty, who is 95, reminded him of his own mother. He added:

Biden also revealed the Queen’s intrigue on life in the White House. He continued:
She said, 'What's it like in the White House?' I said, 'Well it's magnificent but it's a lot of people.'
Attending mass
Along with visiting the Queen, one of the very last things the couple did in the UK was also attend morning mass in Sacred Heart and St. Ia Catholic Church in Cornwall. Unfortunately they were 15 minutes late to the service. Parishioner Ann Buckley told The Guardian:

The G7 summit came to a close on Sunday, and Joe Biden has already reached his next European destination—Belgium. Jill is said to be leaving the UK later this evening.
