The baby girl is the eighth grandchild of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess, reports Hello Magazine. Victoire is ninth in the line of succession to the Luxembourgish throne. Her birth comes just three weeks after Princess Alexandra celebrated her first anniversary with Nicolas. Despite being a Royal Baby, Victoire will not get a title as the titles are usually inherited from the father.
The news of Princess Alexandra’s pregnancy was first revealed in December 2023 - months after her wedding to Nicolas Bagory in April 2023. The palace released a statement at that time and confirmed that the birth was planned for Spring 2024.

The couple had a double wedding in April 2023. On April 22, the pair exchanged their vows in a civil ceremony in the Town Hall of Luxembourg City before the mayor. The ceremony was followed by a grand reception at the Grand Ducal Palace. The royal bride wore a co-ord set by the Belgian label, Natan, for her civil ceremony. For the religious ceremony, she wore Elie Saab - which featured a criss-crossed bodice and an A-line silhouette.
After the civil ceremony, two weeks exactly, the couple celebrated again in a private ceremony at Saint-Trophyme Church in Bormes-les-Mimosas, France, on April 29.
