GCSE results are out today and everyone is as nervous as they should be. While Royal Family members may have many perks of belonging to the lineage of royalty, even they weren’t lucky enough to get exempted from GCSE except one, reports Mirror. Royals, including Princess Diana, Prince Charles and his kids Prince William and Harry took the GCSE. Here’s how these royals performed:

Prince William
The future king is one of the smartest members of the Royal Family. He managed to get 12 GCSEs and scored exceptionally good grades to go on to study his A-levels. He earned As in Geography and History of Art and a C in Biology.

The Duchess of Cambridge, like Prince William, was a smart cookie. She gained 11 GCSEs and achieved As in Maths and Art and a B in English for her A-levels.
Prince Harry
It is obvious that Prince Harry was never much of a follower, so he never really followed in Prince William’s footsteps academically. He was the sports captain, yet managed to score an impressive 11 GCSEs. The Duke of Sussex also went on to study for his A-levels but ultimately decided higher education was not for him and joined the Army instead.

It is famously known that Prince Charles struggled at school and despised his time there. However, he still managed to get 5 O-levels (GCSE was formerly known as O-levels) and 2 A-levels with a B in History and C in French.

It may come as a surprise, but the 96-year-old monarch never had a formal education. In her early childhood, she was taught by a governess and later went on to receive constitutional history lessons from the provost of Eton. So, she was the only royal lucky enough to not sit for GCSE.
Princess Diana
Like Prince Charles, Princess Diana wasn’t as strong in the classroom and she actually failed her exams. She failed her O-levels twice. However, she found her talent and excelled in deportment.
