Royal Family: Here are 28 residences and how much they are worth
The most royal of royal residences! Buckingham Palace sits at the centre of London and is the location of some memorable balcony moments. It has a total of 775 rooms including 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices, 78 bathrooms, 52 royal and guest bedrooms, and 19 state rooms. It has served as the monarch's London residence since 1837 after Buckingham House was purchased in 1761 by George III for Queen Charlotte. Foxtons estimated its value at £2.2 billion but that is just basing it on size. It could be worth much more!
Before Queen Victoria chose Buckingham Palace as the royal London residence, kings and queens lived at St James' Palace. It is now mostly used during State Visits and ceremonies. Business Insider estimated its worth to be around £561.8 million.
