Queen's possession sold for £39,200 at recent auction

The 13-year-old green X-type Jag was driven by the late Queen quite often. The late monarch was said to have ranked the green estate car—also known as Emerald Fire—as her close second favourite vehicle to drive after her Land Rover Defender.

Green Jaguar
The late Queenoften turned to X-Types when they weren't available. She would drive around her three-litre diesel motor with a sunroof in the Windsor Estate in Berkshire. It would have normally been sold for around £5,000, however, owing to its Royal history its value has increased.
The green Jag – which is the range-topper – was originally sold to a buyer in 2016, claimed The Sun. After the latest sale, The Berkshire auctioneer said:

It is a V6 petrol with around 230hp and a 144 mph top speed. According to historics.co.uk, the car was one of the Queen’s top choices and was sold for £39,200. The advert said:

Perfect condition
While the car has had other owners since the Queen, it is still in perfect condition and has only clocked 75,000 miles. According to historics.co.uk, the car is Emerald Fire green paint with a tan Barley leather interior.
More under this adMore under this adMoreover, the car comes with its ‘original booklet stating its registration as PYN IF which can also be seen in photos with HM the Queen at the wheel.’ It also has automatic transmission, climate control, electric windows, a good service history and a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate.
