The Queen has made another surprise appearance, this time at the Chelsea Flower Show on Monday 23 May. After suffering for months from mobility issues, adjustments were made so that she could tour the annual flower show in London which she has attended over 50 times during her 70-year reign.

'Adjustments had been made'
Her Majesty wore a bright pink jacket and white floral dress with white gloves and a pearl necklace. She beamed as she was driven around the gardens and exhibits in a white buggy the day before it opened to the public.
More under this adMore under this adIn a statement to the BBC, Buckingham Palace said the Monarch's attendance at the annual flower show was possible after 'adjustments [had] been made for the Queen’s comfort.'
According to the BBC, the last time the Queen used a buggy was in 2013 for an event in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. The Royal Horticultural Society's showcase was the first official outing for the Queen's new luxury six-seater golf buggy.

The buggy appears to have been made by Danish company Garia and was apparently purchased for the Royal Household earlier this year for £62,000, according to The Sun. The electric buggy boasts all-weather covers, a fridge, and a 10-inch tablet-style infotainment screen.
More under this adMore under this adDubbed 'the Queen Mobile' by The Sun, the buggy has a top speed of 43mph and a range of 50 miles before its lithium battery needs recharging. It also features headlights, 14-inch alloy wheels, a lockable boot, a heated windscreen, as well as cup holders, drive-mode selection, and Bluetooth speakers.
This year’s Chelsea Flower Show includes a Platinum Jubileefloral tribute to the Queen’s 70-year reign.
