Queen Camilla contracted a ‘seasonal illness’
It is rare that Buckingham Palace reveals health issues of the members of the Royal Family. Sky News has reported that the Palace has revealed that Queen Camilla has contracted a ‘seasonal illness’ and won’t be able to attend the scheduled events in the West Midlands, Tuesday, February 14.
More under this adMore under this adIt is unclear what ‘seasonal illness’ the Queen Consort has but since it is still wintertime, it could be a number of typical winter viruses such as the flu. It is highly unlikely that the Palace will reveal which illness Queen Camilla contracted.

Queen Camilla’s previous health issues
Queen Camilla, 75, is no stranger to illness, given her age, it can be expected that she will get sick. In February 2022, it was announced that the then Duchess of Cornwall had contracted Covid-19 despite being vaccinated.
Queen Camilla had admitted that she had trouble ‘shaking off’ the virus, which left her ‘coughing and spluttering.’

Queen Camilla suffering from ailments during events seems to be a recurring thing.
Indeed the Queen Consort was suffering from sinusitis on her wedding day. Sinusitis causes headaches from an infection in the sinuses that become swollen. According to reports, Queen Camilla had difficulty moving due to the infection.

In the end, Buckingham Palace announced that Queen Camilla has contracted Covid-19 for the second time, despite being up to date with her booster shots. BBC has reported that the Queen Consort is in 'good spirits' despite the virus and is resting.
