Queen Camilla and Kate's relationship under scrutiny as unknown sources make shocking claims

Feuds within a family are something very common, this is no exception for the Royal Family. However, Prince Harry isn’t the only one with feuds in his family. It is believed that Queen Camilla and Princess Kate don’t have the best relationship and things could get worse now that Camilla is Queen Consort.

Queen Camilla and Kate’s alleged feud

Reports suggest that Queen Camilla and the Princess of Wales have been feuding for the past 20 years.

When young Kate first entered the Royal fold, Camilla was still trying to improve her public image after the whole scandal with Princess Diana. She was branded as the ‘other woman’ and an insider told Radar Online:

[Queen Camilla] revelled in Kate’s misery. She didn’t think Kate had the backbone to be a royal and her opinion was freely shared and picked up by the media.

However, according to the insider, the feud came from both sides, as they would allegedly try to ‘one-up’ each other during public events. The source said:

There are some in royal circles who get the impression Kate and Camilla do try to one-up each other in public by swaying public opinion on their side.

Others accused Camilla of feeding stories to the media to portray herself in a better light but when it comes to Kate, ‘no one thinks [Kate] would stoop that low, but she is popular with the press.’

Queen Camilla expects to ‘be heard’

Now that Camilla is the Queen Consort, sources believe she will push harder and expect ‘to be heard’ now. As reported by Radar Online, Queen Camilla is allegedly ‘determined to make Kate’s life a nightmare.’

According to sources, Queen Camilla thought it would be ‘fitting’ to have Kate’s parents visit through the servants’entrance ‘like the rest of the merchants.’

However, other reports suggest that Queen Camilla and Princess Kate have a good relationship. Indeed Queen Camilla had praised Kate as she had asked the latter to photograph her for the Country Life cover.

The Queen Consort even talked about how much fun they had as they did it:

They are very good pictures. She does it very naturally. We had a lot of fun doing it.

Even if the pair are feuding, as so many suggest, they present a united front during public engagements. Many royal commenters have praised the Princess of Wales for allowing Queen Camilla to shine.
