The call for volunteers was sent out in an email to people with annual membership of the country estate and private residence in Norfolk.

The offer would be extended to 20 of these members to visit and work on the 20,000-acre estate which is home to some of the most spectacular gardens and woodlands.
More under this adMore under this adChosen volunteers would receive tuition on the morning of June 25, the starting date. They would then be divided into teams and given tasks to perform.
Volunteers should be able to commit to working 9am to 3:30pm.
According to the email, volunteers will have hands-on learning experience from some of the country’s best gardeners.
You’ll learn a little bit about weed identification, followed by methods to use for the management of plants growing in the wrong place. The day is designed to be interactive with a chance for you to help and be involved in vital work that’s needed to care for the spectacular landscape at Sandringham.More under this adMore under this ad
The volunteers would have to take along with them their own gloves, sun cream, insect repellent as well as a water bottle.
