Prince William and Kate Middleton compared to Melania and Donald Trump because of one odd look

On Saturday 24 June, Prince William and Princess Kate made a noticeable appearance at Royal Ascot.

Princess Kate was beautiful in her Alexander McQueen red dress but unfortunately, the dress is not the main thing Twitter users are talking about.

Indeed, they have brought forth a video of Princess Kate and Prince William in which the two seem to not be too happy.

Even though the exchange is short Twitter has been scrutinising it and even making comparisons with another couple known for not looking happy during official outings: Melania and Donald Trump.

Are Prince William and Princess Kate the new Melania and Donald Trump?

The appearance Prince William and Princess Kate made at Ascot this weekend has been analysed and talked about as soon as the couple stepped onto the racing tracks.

A lot of royal fans have praised Princess Kate’s fashion choice saying:

However, other royal enthusiasts have made a different video resurface.

In the video that is bringing a lot of debate to Twitter, the couple is standing next to each other. They move to stand in a line and the Princess of Wales reaches for her husband. Prince William then turns his head which makes Princess Kate instantly look down.

Many Twitter users are taking this video as a sign that their marriage is on the rocks and one user even makes a drastic comparison.

In the responses to the tweet you can find above, someone shares a video of Melania and Donald Trump in which Melania is seen to immediately drop her smile when her husband turns around.

Prince William and Princess Kate: looks can be deceiving

While this comparison between the two couples is happening this week this is not the first time that Prince William and Princess Kate have been spoken about concerning the way they look at each other.

For instance, earlier in June 2023, during Garter Day Service, the couple was noticed for smiling at each other.

Indeed, while Prince William was taking part in the procession PrincessKate was seen to give him a little nod of encouragement.
