Prince Harry has been teasing us about writing a memoir that is believed to have the power to shake the very foundation of the Buckingham Palace since 2021. It looks like the time has finally come for his project to come to life as his publisher Penguin Random House has announced that it will be released on 10 January 2023.

Until the book is officially out in the public, we'll never know. However, the title of the book itself is quite telling in itself.
Titled Spare, several media including BBC and Sky News, have pointed out that it could be a reference to the popular phrase 'heir and a spare'.

Atypical to the Royal Family's stance of 'remaining silent', Prince Harry has been very vocal about his struggles as a royal, especially as a Prince who lost his mother at a young age. This book will dig deeper into those hardships that he faced.

It is expected that Prince Harry's in-depth account into his childhood and life as a royal will invariably lead to a revelation of unknown truths about the mysterious institution that is the Royal Family. And while the release of the memoir was delayed because of the passing of the Queen, a project like this is and has been seen as a threat to the institution—especially now, given that King Charles III is very new to his role as the monarch of the country.
