Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice and other Royal Family members who have normal jobs

Some of the most well-known royals work 9-5 jobs, as they are not supported by the Sovereign Grant, meaning they aren't employed full-time by the Sovereign. The list could grow now that King Charles III has ascended the throne.

Princess Beatrice

Princess Beatrice's LinkedIn profile shows she completed a BA in History at Goldsmiths, University of London. According to Good Housekeeping, Princess Beatrice is currently Vice-President at Afiniti.com, a software company.

The company bio reads:

Beatrice is responsible for the management of the strategic Afiniti partnerships as well as company growth through unique initiatives and client development.

Princess Beatrice also works with many non-profits, such as Street Child, the Big Change Charitable Trust, the Teenage Cancer Trust, and the Berkshire Community Foundation, to name a few.

Princess Eugenie

According to her LinkedIn profile, the royal went to Newcastle University, where she completed a degree in English literature, art history, and politics. The Listreports that Princess Eugenie is the director of the London art gallery Hauser & Wirth.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar in 2016, Princess Eugenie explained:

Part of my job is planning special projects, supporting the artists in the gallery and managing events.

According to a statement posted on his Twitter account in 2016, Prince Andrew said:

My wish for my daughters is for them to be modern, working young women who happen to be members of the Royal Family.

Peter Philips

Peter Philips is the son of Princess Anne. The Queen's only daughter refused royal titles for her children in the hopes of giving them an everyday life, BBC reported.

Compared to other members of the Royal Family, Peter has maintained a low profile.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he earned a Bachelor of Science in sports science at the University of Exeter. He has had several jobs since graduating and is currently the director of e-Mersion Media.

Zara Tindall

Zara Tindall has never had a royal title, much like her brother Peter. As such, she has been able to carve out her career.

Zara shared her mother, Princess Anne, and grandmother's passion for horses. Like her mother, Zara became an accomplished equestrian with many achievements, including an Olympic silver medal after competing in the 2012 London Olympics.

According to Devon Live, in 2019, Zara became the director at the Cheltenham Racecourse, a position she was very excited about. Zara said:

I’m passionate about horseracing, particularly on the Jumps side, and the absolute pinnacle of that is Cheltenham.

Prince Harry

Before retiring from his royal duties, Prince Harry was funded by the Sovereign Grant as he actively worked for the Queen. But since he split away from the firm, Prince Harry has had to find himself another job to support his family.

On top of their deals with Netflix and Spotify, Elle reported that the Duke of Sussex joined BetterUp Inc as Chief Impact Officer. Prince Harry's role includes contributing to strategy decisions, charitable contributions and advocating publicly for positive mental health, a cause close to the Prince's heart.
