Prince Harry and his wife Meghan relocated to Montecito, USA, after stepping down as Senior Royals in 2020. One of the reasons the pair moved to Los Angeles with Archie was because they didn’t feel safe in the UK. The Sun has reported that the couple also seems to have security issues in the US. This poses the question are Prince Harry and his family safer in the US than in the UK?

2 security breaches in 12 days
The Sun has revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan were subjected to 2 security breaches in the space of 12 days. Indeed these incidents occurred back in May of this year (2022).
More under this adMore under this adThe first incident was on May 19, 2022, according to Mirror, the Santa Barbara Police noted an intervention on the couple’s property at 5.44 pm after there had been reports of a trespasser.
The police then responded to another intruder alert on May 31, reportedly a few hours before the family were due to fly out to Britain to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

6 security alerts in 14 months
According to The Sun, the Sussexes have reported a total of 6 security breaches in 14 months. The two that occurred in May were labelled as ‘trespasser’, ‘property crimes’ and ‘suspicious circumstances’.
More under this adMore under this adOn April 9, 2021, police were sent to the $14 million dollar home at 2.52 am but were then called off as ‘no assistance was needed’.
Then the alarm was ‘mistakenly tripped’ on New Year’s Day (2022) around 1:43 am. A squad car was sent, but it is still unclear if the couple were at home celebrating.

On June 8, there was a ‘miscellaneous dispatch’ at 1.17 pm, however, the police did not attendPrince Harry and Meghan’s property.
With all these security breaches at the LA home, it does make you wonder if the Sussexes really feel safer in the US than they did in the UK.
