Prince Harry and Meghan Marklearrived in New York yesterday Tuesday 6 December for the Ripple of Hope Gala. The couple were honoured for their 'unwavering commitment to social change,' alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and late NBA star Bill Russell. According to The Independent, the ceremony was hosted by actor Alec Baldwin.

The top-tier 'Pioneer' package to attend the event is believed to cost up to $1 million (£847,000), and includes four seats at the main table where Harry and Meghan were said to be seated. Other packages cost $500,000 (£424,000) and included VIP reception access, according to Mirror.

Branded a 'hypocrite'
However, as much as the nomination for the award has been controversial; people are more concerned about the couple's frivolous lifestyle.
Indeed, it is the second time within a week that the Duchess of Sussex, who is said to be an environmental activist, has flown by private jet to attend an event. According to footage obtained by Fox News, Meghan also boarded a private plane on Tuesday, 29th November.
