Prince Andrew allegedly determined to get his public life back after new revelation by accuser

It was only days ago that a palace source confirmed that King Charles has denied a return to Prince Andrew to his Royal public life. However, now that Virginia Giuffre has dropped a case against American lawyer Alan Dershowitz last week, Andrew is more than adamant to get his Royal public life back.

Fightback for his Royalty

Virginia Giuffre accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse following which he stepped down from Royal duties after his BBC’s Newsnight interview. And in all the aftermath of accusations that many women and not just Virginia, he was stripped of military titles and HRH status.

However, now that Virginia has taken back a sex abuse case because she ‘may have made a mistake,’ it has given hope to the Duke for his return to public life. A source told MailOnline:

Everything has changed and Andrew is determined to fight.

Virginia’s civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew was settled for a rumoured £12 million. Although, the Queen’s alleged favourite son had always vigorously refuted the claims.

Tough road ahead

Considering he’s not a working member of the Royal Family anymore, he was noticeably absent from the Festival of Remembrance at the Albert Hall last night. The festival remembered those who fought the Falklands conflict in 1982 where the Duke also served with the Royal Navy.

After his alleged private meeting with the King, a friend confirmed:

There is a feeling Andrew wants to forge ahead with a new life but the only person who can agree to that is the monarch. It means these conversations will have to start all over again now that we have a new King.

Meanwhile, a palace insider argues that a return of the Duke’s Royal public life is nowhere a priority for the King. The insider said:

As King, Charles has a very full in-tray. Senior palace aides have previously said that the Duke of York would be supported by the family to forge a new life away from the public gaze.
