While the case is ongoing in the US, Met police have decided against investigating his sex abuse charges. Back in August, Dame Cressida Dick, commissioner of the Met, said that the matter would be thoroughly reviewed in the UK as ‘no one is above the law.’ However, on Sunday they announced that after concluding the review, they reached the decision to drop the investigation. They said:
As a matter of procedure, MPS officers reviewed a document released in August 2021 as part of a US civil action. This review has concluded and we are taking no further action.More under this adMore under this ad

Denying everything
The Prince is continuing to deny all the allegations against him, and has even claimed that he never met Giuffre in his life. Buckingham Palace has also spoken out, saying that the accusations are ‘baseless.’
The royal has been getting full support from his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, as she is reportedly funding his legal defence with her own income.
