The interview
He gave an explosive interview with 60 Minutes Australia with the hopes that the couple will be able to hear his plea and grant him the opportunity to finally meet his grandchildren. He said:

In the segment released by 60 Minutes on Sunday, we see Thomas Markle watching the news of Lili’s birth, to which he says:

On the offense
Thomas also took this opportunity to lay it all out in the open, including his thoughts on Oprah Winfrey. He has accused her of using his daughter for views, he said:
I think she is using them to build her network and build her new shows and I think she’s taken advantage of a very weakened man and has got him to say things that you just shouldn’t be saying on television.More under this adMore under this ad
Additionally, he talked about Harry's recent revelations about growing up with Prince Charles on his new docuseriesThe Me You Can't See, and Markle believes that the two fathers share a lot in common. He continued:
