Meghan Markle creates new Netflix show called Pearl

The Duchess of Sussex is the brain behind a new family-centered animated series for the Netflix streaming service.

A statement released by Archewell Productions, the company established by her and her husband, Prince Harry, revealed that the series will be centered around the adventures of a 12 year-old girl who is inspired by a variety of powerful and influential women in history.
Meghan will also be the executive producer for the series which is called 'Pearl'.
Filmmaker David Furnish, who is the spouse of Sir Elton John, will also add his creativity to the production of the series.

David Furnish and I have been eager to bring this special series to light, and I am delighted we are able to announce it today.
Pearl is the second show from the Netflix franchise that Meghan and the Duke of Sussex signed last year after Heart Of Invictus, a docuseries about the Invictus Games, with Harry both appearing and serving as executive producer.
