Naturally a trip of the magnitude will lead to security being on high alert. According to Daily Mail, royal security has indeed been put on ‘red alert’, one of the reasons is because of a man who claims to be Charles and Camilla’s ‘secret love child’—Simon Charles Dorante-Day.

Daily Mail reports that shortly after King Charles and Queen Camilla landed in Australia, a trip which had already gotten off to a bad start, royal minders were on ‘high alert’ during their weekend in Sydney.
This was allegedly due to a man called Simon Charles Dorante-Day who lives in Sydney. For several years now, Dorante-Day has been claiming that he is King Charles' and Camilla's illegitimate son. As per Daily Mail, Dorante-Day, 58, allegedly hinted at confronting the King and Queen during their visit to Australia.

As a result, Daily Mail has claimed that close protection experts were keeping a close watch on Dorante-Day. It is undisclosed where they got this information from as their sources have been left anonymous.

Simon Charles Dorante-Day responds to Daily Mail’s claims
Simon Charles Dorante-Day is very active on Facebook in his journey as King Charles and Queen Camilla’s ‘secret love child’. On October, 19, a day after the King and Queen landed in Australia, Dorante-Day posted that police did not approach him. He wrote:
I have not been approached by any Police Authority neither have I received any advice not to travel near King Charles and Queen Camilla.More under this adMore under this ad
He added that he would be ‘contacting’ Daily Mail and the other publications for an ‘apology and removal of their FAKE defaming claims’.
About Dorante-Day's claims
Simon Charles Dorante-Day claims he is the ‘secret love child’ of Charles and Camilla. According to him, he was given up for adoption soon after his birth and was taken in by royal staff.
More under this adMore under this adHowever, Dorante-Day's claims do not align with the official history of the Royal couple's romance. As per Dorante-Day's timeline, Charles and Camilla became close in 1965 after meeting at Winston Churchill's funeral in January of that year.
However, it has been widely reported that Charles and Camilla first met in 1970 at a polo match in Windsor Great Park.
Dorante-Day was adopted when he was around 8 months old in August 1966 in Portsmouth on England's south coast, Camilla would have been 18 and Charles 17. Dorante-Day continues to claim that his adoptive grandmother, who allegedly worked for the Royal Family, helped arrange his adoption.
