Probably her most memorable outfit, that dress had everyone talking! Designed by Sarah Burton, artistic director of Alexander McQueen, the dress was what the now Princess wanted: a mix between ‘tradition and modernity’. 

During the Queen's Diamond Jubilee tour, just a few months after she officially joined the family, the then Duchess of Cambridge was asked to accompany the Queen to an event in Leicester.

A few months after the birth of Prince George, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge embarked on a Australian Royal Tour. The half-up-half-down hair style was a signature of this tour.

Kate Middleton while on a tour in Germany and Poland. While this dress is not a show stopper, it highlights her attention to detail. Indeed, while in Germany she is wearing a German designer and a dress with eagles on it. Eagles are the national bird of Germany. 

While on tour in Germany, the Duke and Duchess took their two little children with them. Though Kate kept her heels and dresses on, she was very hands on and motherly as little Charlotte was throwing a tantrum on the tarmac. Kate Middleton wore that dress later on in the year at an event in London. 

While at an event around Christmas, Kate Middleton showed that she could be active and stylish. We particularly appreciate the green and red combination - very festive and seasonal!

Covid times… The Cambridges are embracing their best cottage-core aesthetic! 

While in Ireland… one must wear green! Joke aside, the sparkly, dark green dress is a continuation of the then Duchess' colour palette. Deeper colours are now a staple in her wardrobe!

A red carpet showstopper! The then Duchess wore this gorgeous gold number for the premiere of James Bond, No Time To Die. 

Business life Kate has entered the building. Though the colour is daring, the cut and style remain simple. The skirt is flowy which also signals someone who is dynamic and free to move.

During a tour in the Bahamas, the business shift continued. The Duchess wore more trousers and suits. 

Now the Prince and Princess of Wales, these two are the couple next in line to the throne. Though Kate's outfit continued to use simple lines, the colour and shape are dynamic. Also, we love how Prince William's tie fits with her dress! 

2023 was the year of the suit. Taking on more responsibility as the Princess of Wales, she was the image of professionalism! 

One take on the suit which we hadn't seen coming from the Princess. We also love the grey colour which is not something she wears very often. Though this had the potential to be boring it's just screaming ‘I’m here to work'.

Remember the hat she wore in 2006 at Prince William's graduation from Sandhurst? Well, she wore it again in November 2023 for Remembrance Day at the Cenotaph.
