Heart of Invictus
After signing a deal with Netflix last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have finally revealed their first project under the Archewell Production name. The Heart of Invictus will follow participants as they each train for their big moment at The Hague in the Netherlands.
The Invictus Games were initially set to be held in 2020 but has now been delayed until 2022 (thanks COVID), allowing Archewell Productions to follow organisers as they bring the competition together.

Prince Harry played a vital role in the creation and launch of the Invictus Games in 2014. As such, it is no surprise that this project is one that Harry will be holding close to his heart. The Duke will also be acting as Executive Producer alongside the Invictus Games Foundation, of which he is also a patron. Harry released in a statement:
As Archewell Productions’ first series with Netflix, in partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn’t be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential and continued service.More under this adMore under this ad
Ted Sarandos, Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer at Netflix, also spoke about the docuseries, revealing:
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Archewell Productions team are building an ambitious slate that reflects the values and causes they hold dear. From the moment I met them, it’s been clear that the Invictus Games hold a very special place in their hearts, and I couldn’t be happier that their first series for Netflix will showcase that for the world in a way never seen before.
