Convinced he is Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles' secret son, the 55-year-old Australian citizen posted a long message on Facebook on Sunday 9 May, Mother's day in Australia. In his post, he explained how tough it is for him to celebrate the holiday without his supposed biological mother, Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Even though the Prince of Wales and his wife have never answered the man's allegations, Dorante-Day is convinced he is their son. He has taken his case to court on several occasions, but always in vain.

Dorante-Day has also come to the defence of another man who claims to be Edward VIII's son, who had abdicated the throne for Wallis Simpson. Dorante-Day told 7news:
When Edward was Prince of Wales, he had the reputation of being a ladies' man. A man in Belgium claims to be Edward's son. He has shared some photos where he looks an awful lot like him, and he also looks a lot like me.More under this ad
