Troy Bolton is the new Fred
Warner Bros is currently working on a new Scooby-Doo film, shot in motion capture. Actor Will Forte will play, and lend his voice to Shaggy, and Gina Rodriguez, who plays Jane in Jane the virgin, will play Velma. For the roles of Fred and Daphne, Deadline released a report that surprised many internet users.
More under this adMore under this adIndeed, according to them, Zac Efron will play Fred, he who became known for his role of Troy Bolton in the High School Musical trilogy. As for Daphne, actress Amanda Seyfried, known for Mama Mia! Here We Go Again, will have the heavy task of playing the character.
The plot remains a mystery
But what is this new film, shot in motion capture, going to be about? For now, we do not know much about the synopsis, we only know that the title will be Scoob, and that it will be directed by Tony Cervone.
More under this adMore under this adStill according to Deadline, the plot will focus on the Mystery Incorporated group who will collaborate with characters from the Hanna-Barbera company to thwart the evil plans of Dick Dastardly. The film will be a bit like Spider Man: Into the Spider Verse, with the plan to mix several cartoon characters together, such as Captain Caveman. We can’t wait to see this!
