Most of us first got to know Blake Lively in her lead role as Serena Van Der Woodsen in Gossip Girl – or maybe in her role as Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants way back in 2005. However, Blake is showing off her serious acting chops in new film The Rhythm Section – and she’s totally unrecognisable!

The Rhythm Section, which also stars Jude Law, Sterling K. Brown and Daniel Mays, sees Blake take on the role of Stephanie, a woman who is seeking revenge after a plane crash killed her whole family. The movie comes from the producers of the James Bond films and is set to be action-packed.
More under this adMore under this adIt looks like Stephanie takes on a number of disguises in her quest for vengeance as preview photos from the film show her sporting several very different looks. In one image she has short black hair whilst in another, she is pictured with long red hair wearing a black mesh lingerie set. In still more photos she can be seen with a dirty blonde bob.
More under this adMore under this adBlake shared the photos on her Instagram and is clearly seriously excited about the film’s release – which has been delayed three times. Filming began way back in December 2017 but had to be put on hold when Blake suffered a hand injury. After recommencing filming in June 2018, the movie was originally set to be released in February 2019. This was pushed back to November, then once again to January 2020.
Meanwhile, 32-year-old Blake welcomed her third daughter with actor husband Ryan Reynolds in summer 2019. Whilst Blake wore a dazzling form-fitting black velvet gown to walk the red carpet at The Rhythm Section premiere, she kept it real by admitting her svelte silhouette was all thanks to a corset, saying:
