Vladimir Putin: The Russian President’s girlfriend has been seen in Moscow after months of ‘hiding’

Alina Kabaeva has been Vladimir Putin’s rumoured ‘lover’ for some years now. The rumour that the pair are romantically involved began in 2008. Rumours suggested that Kabaeva was hiding out in a chalet in the Swiss Alpes but she has recently been seen in Moscow for a junior rhythmic gymnastics rehearsal.

Alina is currently in Moscow for a junior rhythmic gymnastics rehearsal. Indeed Alina, 38, is a former Olympic gold-medallist gymnast. The junior rhythmic gymnastics rehearsal is in Moscow’s VTB Arena a few days before the Alina Festival which is a charity event scheduled for this Saturday (April 23).

Some of the participating gymnasts have posted pictures of themselves and Alina - who doesn’t have any form of social media - on Instagram.

This surprising appearance of Alina Kabaeva comes after a petition was launched to kick the Russian President’s ‘lover’ and children out of Switzerland.

Has Alina Kabaeva had plastic surgery?

With the new pictures of Putin’s lover online, some have noticed that she looks different. There are rumours that the ex-gymnast has had plastic surgery, the same as Putin. Some have even said they think that she has visited the same plastic surgeon as the Russian President.
