Victoria Beckham reveals if she will become a grandmother soon: ‘We are not there yet’

Victoria Beckham has four children with former footballer, David Beckham, Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 18 and Harper, 12. The couple’s eldest son, Brooklyn got married at a young age to Nicola Peltz, daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz.

Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot on April 9, 2022, and a feud reportedly started between Nicola and Victoria when she decided to not wear a Victoria's Secret wedding dress. Speaking about the alleged feud, Brooklyn told Variety'everyone gets along, which is good.'

Brooklyn and Nicola have been married for almost two years now. During a recent interview with Vogue, Victoria Beckham was asked how she felt about becoming a grandmother one day.

How does Victoria Beckham feel about being a grandmother?

On Friday, February 16, Victoria Beckham sat down with Chloe Malle for an episode of Vogue’s The Run Through podcast.

During the interview, Chloe Malle asked about Brooklyn and Nicola, to which the former Spice Girl member revealed she doesn’t like to offer relationship advice. The conversation then went towards Victoria Beckham one day becoming a ‘Gramma’.

When asked about it, Victoria reacted strongly and got slightly awkward, as per Daily Mail, she told Chloe:

Oh. Jesus. What? Woo. Hang on.

Victoria then started to fan her face as she regained composure and explained that she doesn't think that will be happening ‘just yet’ and kept repeating 'we are not there yet'.

I don't think it's happening just yet unless you guys know something I don't.

However, despite her initial shock, the former singer revealed that the day she does become a grandmother she would be ‘blessed’ and that it ‘would be wonderful’.

Brooklyn Beckham reveals he wants a surprising number of children

Even though Brooklyn Beckham is still young, he has thought about being a father and how many children he would like to have one day. The aspiring chef told Entertainment Tonight that he really wants to be ‘a young dad’ but naturally he will wait until Nicola ‘is ready’.

Speaking on how many children he would like one day, Brooklyn said he wants 10 but ultimately, it is Nicola’s decision as it is her body.

He told Entertainment Tonight:

I've always wanted to be a young dad and I would love to have a family soon, but whenever my wife is ready.

I could have like 10, but her body... it's her decision.

In a separate interview with Variety, Brooklyn revealed that he wants a ‘big family’ and would ‘love to adopt’ as well as having biological children. Nicola Peltz, 27, comes from a very big family, she is one of nine children.

Speaking to Variety, Brooklyn revealed he is ‘ready to have kids’ but makes sure Nicola understands that they will start a family when she’s ready. He added that Nicola is convinced their first child will be a boy.

Finally, Brooklyn revealed that he and Nicola would not be starting their family in the next year:

We don’t plan on having kids anytime in the next year.
