Tommy Fury: Strictly bosses eyeing the boxer for the show amid split rumours with Molly-Mae

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have become relationship goals for most people and not just the ones in the Love Island universe. The two met during the 2019 show and have been together since then. They welcomed their first child in January 2023 and got engaged months later in a surprise proposal in Ibiza.

However, soon after the engagement, the couple sparked split rumours as videos of Tommy partying in Dubai appeared around the same time Molly-Mae was spotted without her wedding ring.

The two soon appeared to be back in the ‘love-birds’ era as Molly addressed the rumours in her YouTube videos. However, the couple have sparked split rumours yet again after their recent social media activity. Here’s why!

Tommy Fury turned 25 on May 7, 2024. As the boxer turned 25 - a milestone birthday - fans expected Molly-Mae to flood their Instagram pouring tributes for his birthday. Much to everyone’s surprise, Molly-Mae failed to post even a single photo to mark his 25th birthday, as per Mirror.

This comes after Molly-Mae has often been slammed for showing off her lavish lifestyle online. As such, no posts for Tommy’s birthday sparked fans’ concern that there may be trouble in paradise. On the other hand, Tommy also stayed silent on social media the entire day on his birthday and only posted a story with Bambi the next day. The boxer enjoyed a slice of cake as Bambi sat on his knee but Molly was nowhere to be seen.

Until now, neither Molly-Mae or Tommy have commented on the rumours or cleared them up. However given the frequency at which these 'split rumours' are in the news, there's likely nothing to worry about.

Is Tommy Fury appearing on Strictly Come Dancing?

The news comes as it has been rumoured that BBC bosses want to cast Tommy Fury in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing. The Express reported that BBC bosses believe Tommy would be a great signing for the show and having Molly’s support would also bring in younger audiences. A source shared:

Bosses are trying everything to get Tommy on. They believe Molly-Mae in the audience would also pull in younger fans.

However, there’s one problem - his pay demands. The source added:

Producers believe he would be a hit with the ladies. But his pay demands are too high.
