This Is The Shocking Reason Zoe Saldana Was Once Fired From Burger King

In an interview with the magazine Us Weekly, the actress Zoe Saldana told a touching story about her life before fame.

At the time when she wasn’t yet the actress we know today, the star from Guardians of the Galaxy worked in a fast-food restaurant. It's a period that Zoe Saldana remembers fondly, although she was laid off from work for having been a little too compassionate towards the people on the streets.

‘My first job was at Burger King, I liked working in the drive-through. I was fired every Friday and rehired every Saturday because they were short on staff. I think I was very empathetic when homeless people came in so I was always giving them food and I would get caught,’ confessed the 40-year-old actress.

A confession which will certainly not do any favours for the aforementioned chain, who could never have imagined that Zoe Saldana would one day tell this story in a widely-shared interview.
