Krishnan Guru-Murthy’s past swipes at BBC

Reportedly, Krishnan Guru-Murthy previously took a swipe at BBC that has come back to haunt him. Krishnan started his career on the BBC presenting Newsround until 1994 - when he moved to Newsnight - and entirely left the broadcaster in 1997.

After Gary Lineker’s notorious row with the BBC over impartiality guidelines, Krishnan took a swipe at BBC on The Political Party podcast.
