Sharon Gaffka reveals there’s a secret person on the show who never gets seen

Over the years, many stars have revealed the inside secrets of the show. From everything that producers have control over to whether the show is scripted or not, ex-islanders have had some interesting tit-bits to share with Love Island fans. In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Sharon Gaffka has revealed yet another secret about a secret person who never gets seen.

Girls need help

The former Love Island star confirms that there’s a secret staff member who helps girls but is never shown on TV. The girls are given beauty help in secret by members of the staff or even hairdressers in previous seasons, according to the 26-year-old civil servant from Oxford. The beauty claims that the season before covid allowed hairdressers to mingle with singletons and help them, however, last year’s season happened amidst a lot of covid restrictions.

So, instead of getting help from hairdressers, the girls were taught to take care of their hair themselves on zoom. Sharon added:

I think it was the gunging challenge, a lot of the girls that had blonde extensions had their hair dyed as a result of the gunge.

Because of Covid, the hairdressers had to quarantine for two weeks before entering.

I mean Faye and Lib did a cracking job of rocking blue hair, but it got to the point where it was too much. And funny enough training as a lawyer I’m not really a hair technician.

Failed barter

As Sharon learnt how to fix and re-do hair extensions, she was asked by the producers to help other girls in the villa. Sharon said:

We were in this little terrapin and we had a hairdresser and a member of production on zoom because obviously they couldn’t tell us anything about the show and she was telling me how to remove people's hair bonds and tapes and refit tapes.

The star admitted she tried to get more booze as a reward for helping other girls, but it was a failed attempt. She added:

I did use it as an excuse to ask if I could exceed my limit of two drinks a night and get a third glass of wine, but that never came in fruition.
