For the past several weeks, there has been an ongoing feud between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez - a feud that has seems to have been fueled by fans speculating all sorts of drama online.

Drama between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez

It all started when the former Disney Channel star confided in her TikTok community, 'I wish I was as pretty as Bella Hadid. Instead, I accidentally laminated my brows too much.' Three hours later, Kylie Jenner posted a selfie on her Instagram story, where you could see the phrase 'this was an accident?' noted on her eyebrows.

At the same time, Hailey Bieber posted a TikTok video in which she mouthed the words 'I'm not saying she deserves it, but God's timing is always perfect.'

Publications that fans quickly qualified as targeted messages against Selena Gomez.

Since then, Hailey Bieber has lost around 1 million followers on Instagram and has been at the receiving end of millions of violent and hateful messages from some fans who support Selena Gomez. During a recent surprise performance by Justin Bieber, the crowds even shouted 'F*** Hailey'.

It looks like the online hate has reached a whole new level now, as Selena Gomez has also pleaded her fans to stop.

Selena defends Hailey

On her own Instagram story, the Wizard of Waverly Place actress has addressed the drama surrounding her relationship with the Biebers. She asked her fans to stop harassing the model and spreading values she does not agree with.

Having been bullied online herself, she implied that she knows what Hailey is going through in some way. In an effort to stop the bullying, she also mentions that she 'always advocated for kindness' and she wants 'this to stop'.

Some fans have noticed that Selena Gomez has defended Justin Bieber's new wife Hailey more times than he has. In fact, the Baby singer hasn't responded to insults against his wife, which took a new turn during his surprise performance.
