Her focus now rests firmly on her three children, Caiden (8), Liv (6), and Georgia (2). She describes herself as “single”, admitting, “I’ve dated, but right now I’m choosing to remain single.” The divorce process with Ryan remains unresolved, with lingering disagreements around finances and co-parenting. “It could be a long road ahead still,” Kayla notes, painting a clear picture of a situation that’s far from finished.

“They're doing okay. They have a great community of friends, and great school. Obviously, they have their little struggles, and they have their confusion, because they are wondering what's going on.”

“I went through an abusive relationship, found out I had fertility issues, had nine surgeries, a stalker, some death threats, multiple restraining orders, and everything in between. It was a doozy.”

Now, both women are determined to use their platform not only to process their own journeys but to give hope and strategies to other women facing turbulent times. Kayla sums up this energy :

“I really pray that he becomes the father our kids deserve.”
