Maura Higgins hints at returning to Love Island as she’s ‘very single’

The Irish beauty appeared on Love Island in 2019 and has been going from strength-to-strength career-wise, ever since. She broke up with Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice in October last year and was briefly linked to the 29-year-old Milton Keynes Dons footballer Connor Wickham.

Maura Higgins is ‘very single’

However, The Sun reports that the 31-year-old beauty has confessed to being single again. In a recent Q&A that she did on her Instagram stories, she answered the much-asked question about her relationship status. A very frustrated Maura finally answered and said:

This question just never stops coming up. Yes, I'm single. I'm very single. I couldn't be more f*****g single. I may as well just go into Love Island again.

She also mentioned that she'd want to work as a Love Islandpresenter after a fan claimed she'd be ideal for the show.

This comes after Maura was seen going on a vacation to Paris with Connor Wickham. Reportedly, the two had been introduced by mutual friends and dated each other for a few weeks. A source confirmed:

Maura keeps her cards close to her chest but she seems totally mad on Connor. Connor and Maura went to Paris last month and it ended up being so romantic.

They made it official then and have now gone off on their first holiday together as a couple.

As such, her declaration of being single after this comes as a shock for fans. She also joked that she’s ‘fuc**d’ when it comes to the love department. A follower asked her if she goes for looks or personality in a man and she replied:

I went for looks before and it didn't work, and I went for personality before and it didn't work. So basically, we're all f****d!
