Mel Schilling makes it home for Christmas after cancer surgery
According to The Sun, Mel had thought that she would spend the day in Kingston Hospital, South West London. However, on Sunday evening she posted a snap with her husband Gareth and 8-year-old daughter Madison in festive jumpers. She wrote a caption:

The E4 reality TV show star went for a scan after she experienced stomach cramps while shooting in Australia. She hinted that if the 5-cm tumour had gone undetected for much longer, it would have killed her.

Breaking the news on her Instagram, Mel revealed that her world has been turned upside down by the cancer diagnosis. On December 19, she shared:

Although she was diagnosed with cancer, Mel revealed that she felt ‘blessed’ that it was a cancer that could be easily ‘eradicated.’ She added:
I feel incredibly blessed that it’s a cancer that is relatively easy to eradicate, I’m expected to make a full recovery though it’s a rough road ahead.More under this adMore under this ad
I also feel so lucky to have an incredible support network around me, both personally and professionally, my own family and my TV family have been amazing this past few days.
The reality TV star has now happily returned to her home after successfully battling cancer.
